Benefits & Potential Pitfalls of Agriculture 4.0 | Closing Plenary
While the Green Revolution is still not yet complete in many parts of the world, recent new innovations promise to be "leapfrog" technologies that will allow smallholder farmers to rapidly increase productivity. This Fourth Agricultural Revolution (aka Agriculture 4.0) makes use of precision application of inputs, use of drones and robotics, advanced gene-editing techniques, and other technological advances.
