Biography

Diana, hailing from a rural Colombian background, possesses a profound comprehension of rural community dynamics. Following her business administration degree, she co-established Bive, a social enterprise ensuring healthcare access for over 190,000 individuals in Colombian rural regions, especially within coffee-growing communities. Transitioning after eight years, she joined mothers2mothers in Malawi, focusing on empowering HIV-positive women and delving into sustainable food systems and climate change.

Furthering her education with a Master’s in International Development Policy, she concentrated on technology, innovation, and climate-smart agriculture. Currently, as the International Project Manager at Producers Direct, Diana spearheads the development of data-driven tools for smallholders like Croppie, an AI-powered solution for yield estimation in small-scale coffee production across Colombia, Peru, and Uganda.
