Oluwafunmibi Asunmonu is a driving force behind the resilience and profitability of smallholder farmers and agribusinesses, leveraging digital insurance in her role as the Business Development and Partnerships Lead at Pula.

With a focus on increasing access to sustainable finance for climate adaptation and resilience across Africa’s Agri-food systems through policy and advocacy, she has made significant contributions as a two-time speaker at the annual AGRF summit, a delegate at the World Bank Youth Summit, and a participant in the Nigeria National Economic Council meeting on Food Security. Additionally, her expertise has been showcased through contributions to technical reports published by organizations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Shell Foundation.

Oluwafunmibi advocates the increased investment in local, community-based organizations and agribusinesses towards developing sustainable digital innovations, with a particular emphasis on empowering women and youth.
