Sanjeev Kumar

As a Scientist for more than twenty-three years at Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Pusa, New Delhi and Centre for Agricultural Bioinformatics, IASRI, New Delhi. My major responsibilities are conducting research, post-graduate teaching and imparting training in the area of Agricultural Bioinformatics. As a researcher, my role starts with conceptualization, design and formulation of the research projects. It continues with execution, management and monitoring of scientific, administrative and financial activities related to the projects. My area of specialization is Computational Biology and Bioinformatics more specifically network biology, applications of ML/DL and AI in various fields of genomics. As a faculty member, Agricultural Bioinformatics, I teach post graduate students of IARI and guide M.Sc. and Ph.D. students in the capacity of guide/member, research advisory committee. I also published 50+ research articles in scientific journals of national and international repute (https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=lemv6hIAAAAJ).
